The Total Team has developed since it's beginnings in 1998 to a current staff of eight and has become a credible, market leader. Managing Director, Ian Burgess, has built the company from the ground up, based on his experience in the industry. The company is expected to continue to grow and has recently moved to a larger building to accommodate this expected growth. Ian comes from a strong background in telecommunications and as network manager and design engineer. He has built a reputation within the industry, both as an individual and in his role of Managing Director of The Total Team.

Over the past few years The Total Team has established partnerships with strategic companies; Cisco, RSA and others. 

During the development of the business, Ian and his team have identified a need in the market for a provider of managed services, and have worked to develop hardware and software to meet this need. The product developed to meet this need is now marketed under the name 3TFirewall. Managed Networking Services based on this platform now form a significant part of the business.
